James J. Zurwell

I have lived the majority of my life in New Hampshire, including earning my associate and bachelor’s degrees from accredited New Hampshire schools.  It was not until after a few years in the business world that I realized I enjoyed working with computer and server systems and focused my education in this field.

Over the years, I have worked and learned new technologies and systems as they emerged, to the point where I am today, as a Sr. Systems Administrator.  I get great satisfaction from mentoring junior admins and sharing the knowledge and “wisdom” I have obtained over the years.  I enjoy explaining to end users how systems or applications work so that they can feel comfortable doing their job with the systems they are using.

 

On the other end of the spectrum, I feel comfortable with explaining my opinions to upper management as to why a system change or upgrade is important or should not be completed. In the years to come I hope to continue to learn and grow as new technologies emerge and become integrated into the business environment.
